Easy and delightful sailboat rental! Highlight of our vacation in North Truro! Renting a boat with Jack was a pleasure, from the initial reservation phone call to getting it picked up at the end of our rental. The sunfish we rented was in great shape, and Jack dropped it off and picked it up himself, taking the time to show us how to get her rigged and stored away. We had tons of fun sailing around the bay, all thanks to Jack!

Aqua Sports Rental a good option Jack's used to rent on Gull Pond.& they were always good. We've been going to Wellfleet for 20 years but When we learned they no longer were @ the pond, we found Aqua Sports Rental which delivered & picked up our 3 kayaks & was cheaper. The boats were excellent & service very good.

Excellent This business, Jack's Boat Rental, is professionally run and I would recommend it without hesitation. The owner delivered as promised, on time and without a hitch. We couldn't have been more pleased with our rental of a Sunfish sailboat for our stay on Great Pond in Eastham, MA. We chose the 3 day rental and it worked our perfectly. Jack delivered to the public beach and we sailed 'home' to our rental. We had a blast sailing each day for many hours. Our eldest grandson sailed for the first time. We'd totally go this route again (as opposed to trailering a sailboat for 13 hours from Virginia!)

Need a kayak near Wellfleet? Call Jack! We booked a week in Wellfleet for a much-needed break, and wanted to kayak around the harbor area and Great Island. I searched the Web and called a couple of places. Jack got back to me right away and clearly knew from kayaking. The rate was good and he had a sit-on-top for my wife and a sit-inside for me -- -- so we rented two for the week. Jack delivered the kayaks himself right on schedule after we arrived. Both were high quality -- not the cheapo brands -- with good adjustable seats and backrests. This is often a key problem with rentals; the seats are thrashed and "one size fits all". I sent Jack an email when we left and he picked them up, right on schedule. This is another big plus: he communicates well and arrives when he says he will. In short, if you need a kayak near Wellfleet -- call Jack. Wellfleet is also a beoootiful place to kayak. Marshes, islands, inlets, the Bay. There is so much to see. And the only way to see much of the natural wonder is from a kayak. You can glide into marsh inlets full of birds, fish and wildlife. Plus Wellfleet is sheltered, not open ocean. This is great for kids and first-timers. Sit-on-tops are ideal; zero experience and 'training' are required. If you have never kayaked before, start here. One tip: watch the tide schedule. You do NOT want to be paddling back against a lowering tide that is rushing back to sea, then slog through the mud dragging your kayak back to land! The best time to head out is three hours before high tide, then return on the 'slack' tide as it peaks. I hope this is helpful. Have a great time! Mark

Penultimate tranquility and fun Gull Pond is one of the spectacular kettle ponds on the Cape. Jack's Boat rents kayaks as well as other boats. Make sure to paddle out from Gulls Pond to the two adjoining ponds, ie Higgins and Williams Pond. Also, feel free to pull your kayak over to the side, jump out and have a delightful swim. Not to be missed

Truly the highlight of a great visit to Wellfleet this season On a beautiful July day, we found our way to Gull Pond, (look for the Gull Pond Landing marker) and signed up for kayak rides for ourselves, our son and daughter-in-law and their twin 2-2/3 years old boy and girl, and their nanny, in three kayaks. The two staffers in the water were most helpful in getting all of us in to our kayaks without incident (i. e., not capsizing) and off we went. Gull Pond is an absolutely beautiful round kettle pond so well sized as to feel safe yet exciting. This was the twins' first kayak experience, being held, in their PFDs, by their parents, and they were most excited. Nonetheless, after ten minutes of paddling our granddaughter said 'enough' and they headed back to trade in their two-man kayak for a one-man kayak for my son and grandson. Ten minutes later, they had had enough as well. Because Jack's rents by the half-hour we all were able to have a terrific experience and still fit within the half-hour rental for three kayaks. For us, these kayaks with sturdy back supports were the most comfortable kayaks we have ever ridden and paddled in, anywhere. The fellow at the 'counter' was most helpful to us with the kayak choices, the life jackets and the fair timing as well as watching over us with binoculars. We all Re looking forward to longer rides next year! Thank you, Jack's!
