Gull pond deliveries

for all boat types

We can bring you a boat at gull pond!

We are super excited to now have permission from the Town of Wellfleet to deliver and pickup boats at Gull Pond. Our friends who do not have a vehicle, or cannot lift/carry/transport a boat by themselves, or have other restrictions now have the option to paddle or sail on Gull Pond this summer. Our great boat hands will bring you a boat, help you launch, and then drive it away when you are done enjoying your adventure.

Gull Pond is special and fragile. To help protect the Pond we ask all boaters:
  • All rental activity must occur between 10 AM and 4 PM, and rentals are restricted to a maximum of 3 hours per rental.
  • Please avoid all private property and all vegetated shoreline areas. Basically, stay in the water or on established public beaches while using kayaks rented from Jack's.
  • Be especially aware of the vegetated sluiceway in the areas between Gull Pond to Higgins Pond and from Higgins Pond to Williams Pond.  Do not “beach” kayaks or trample these sensitive vegetated areas.   Our staff will monitor this area regularly and we appreciate your cooperation not disturbing these very fragile sluiceways between Gull, Higgins and Williams Ponds.
  • No pets. Don't litter. Avoid swimmers. Yield to everyone else on the water.
  • Note: You still need a Wellfleet beach sticker to park at Gull Pond during the season (June 20 through Labor Day.)
  • Read the information at, and consider joining, Friends of Wellfleet Ponds. Thank you!

Thanks to the Wellfleet Selectboard and the Town Administrator for allowing Jack's Boat Rental this access. Gull Pond is special - let's enjoy it while also protecting and preserving it. See you this summer!
