Cliff Pond is the
largest pond within Nickerson State Park in Brewster. It is connected to
Little
 Cliff Pond; a smaller, more sheltered boating spot. Noted
for its great fishing, fabulous sailing, and white, sandy beaches, Cliff
Pond is also the site of Jack’s Boat Rentals newest waterfront location.
Offering two types of sailing vessels,
 canoes and kayaks,
pedalboats and surfbikes, the Cliff Pond location is also the only
site which offers sailing lessons. Taught aboard either the 14’
Sunfish or the 17’ O’Day, lessons are available by appointment by calling
the main number for Jack’s Boat Rental: (508) 349-9808.
Directions:
From Rt. 6, take Exit 12.
Follow signs to Rt. 6 A in Brewster. Follow Rte. 6A for about 3 miles.
Nickerson State Park is on the left side of the road. There is no
admission fee. Drive in and follow the park road for about a half mile
until you see the Jack’s Boat Rental sign. Follow that road, past Jack’s
Flax Pond location all the way to the end.
 There is public parking and
a sanitary facility. Head toward the public beach and continue to walk
toward the left until you see the rental location. There is currently no
telephone available at this location.
